Most people backup their files in one of two ways: to an external drive, or somewhere on the Internet.
It’s really easy, and you only need to set it up once!
Take a look at the instructions courtesy of Telstra (see below):
Telstra currently offers 200Gb of storage space with Microsoft OneDrive to eligible customers, so today is a great opportunity to take up this offer and make copies of your important files.

For iPhone users, make sure your iCloud backup is switched on on your device:
• Connect your device to a Wi-Fi network
• Go to Settings > [your name], > tap iCloud
• Tap iCloud Backup
• Tap Back Up Now
• Keep connected to your Wi-Fi network until the process completes

For Android users to ensure that your phone’s built-in backup feature is enabled, go to:
• Settings > Backup
• Ensure “Back up my data” and “Automatic Restore” are checked
Then, if your phone is linked to a Gmail account, you can sign into new devices and your settings will be restored.
